long time no see..
I wanted to put this here because I think a lot of people on here might be interested! It's something me and some people have been working on for the last year!
It’s called tinypalace - and it is an alternative games festival / space for experimentation here in Germany. It’s taking place from the 20th to 22nd May.
We just started a crowdfunding campaign, looking to raise money to invite more speakers and artists. If you want, you can check it out over here: https://www.startnext.com/en/tinypalace
On our website we also just published an Open Call. So if you have a bizarre, small or other game you think might fit with our exhibiton (or if you are interested in speaking or giving a workshop), please have a look! http://tinypalace.de

I made a little zine in which I talk about game development culture, scratchware, the RPG Maker workshop I hosted last month and all sorts of things. It's called About D.I.Y. Games, RPG Maker and why John Romero wants to make you his bitch.
You can read it online over here: DIY_GAMES.pdf
Let me know what you think!
If you want to make your own you can find a printable version here.
And here is a link to the raw text only.
Also I still got a couple physical copies left lying around, if you are interested in getting one message me with your details and I’ll try to get one to you.
And lastly a big thanks to tyowynn for helping me out with layouting and everything. :)
So, these last weeks have been really... I don't know.
A lot of extreme highs and lows.
So I decided to do what any kind of sane person in my situation would have done: Make a video game.
It's called "The Guardian" and it's about this pixel boy who lives in a pixel village and stuff. Also all the instructions and controls are in really badly translated Japanese because...... fuck.
You can play it over here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/613698
I guess I don't really post here much often, but I just made this little image collage of a sort of demake for Far Cry 3 and didn't know where else to share it.
You can view the full montage here:
I got this idea yesterday and wanted to try it out.
I think that Far Cry 3's concept would have worked a lot better as a Point'n'Click game.
At least the meta commentary would have come across much clearer than by just throwing random Alice quotes in there...
